ZEX: revamped China-LA route
Zim Integrated Shipping Services has re-introduced its Zim e-commerce Xpress (ZEX) line, a service connecting South China to the US West Coast and tailored for the e-commerce sector.
ZEX offers a 12.5-day transit from China to Los Angeles, guarantees on space and equipment without rollovers, and a late cut-off time in Yantian for added customer convenience. The service includes expedited inland connections to major US hubs and features a premium service package, A2 Zim.
Eli Glickman, Zim's CEO, cites the service's speed, reliability, and competitive pricing as key benefits. The company sees ZEX as an alternative to airfreight for e-commerce and urgent shipments. (pb)
