Zetes promotes Pierre Lambert
As of 1 March 2022, Pierre Lambert, currently chief financial officer of Zetes, will take over the role of CEO. After more than 35 years of building up and leading Zetes, Alain Wirtz, chief executive officer, will leave the company on 28 February 2022.
Zetes, one of the flagships of the Belgian economy and pioneer of the barcode, was founded in 1984 and employs over 1,300 people in the EMEA region. Zetes’ geographical expansion started in 1992 with France, and the company is now present in 22 countries.
Lambert has been the CFO of Zetes for more than 20 years and has been working closely with Alain Wirtz to develop the company into what it is today. The name of the future CFO will be announced in due course. (cj)
