Zero waste world
Chep has bolstered the initiative for a waste-free supply chain by creating the new position of senior director zero waste world (ZWW) and customer innovation & solutions in Europe. Katrin Zeiler, who recently worked for DHL and who joined Chep in April 2020, will take over this new role.
Her task will be to lead new customer collaborations and develop a recycling management of the supply chain. Retailers and producers will be brought together in the aim to delete waste, to avoid empty transports and to remove inefficiencies. Chep also has the goal to double the number of these collaborations by 2025.
