Zero orders in second month
After Boeing in January, Airbus has not received any new orders for the entire month of February, which means that the number of gross orders remains on its January level of 274 (net 296). By contrast, the number of deliveries in February grew to 55, compared to the 33 in the previous month. Of the new deliveries, seven were A350-900, two A350-900, two A350-1000 and one A330-900neo.
Meanwhile, the A330-800 has received joint Type Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The aircraft’s certification flight-test campaign was successfully performed by aircraft MSN1888, which completed the programme in 370 flight test hours and 132 flights since its first flight in November 2018. (ah)
