Zero-emission deliveries in Norway
DB Schenker has already achieved zero-emission deliveries for Norway’s capital Oslo, where 100 % of the local delivery vehicles have been changed from diesel to electric drive.
Now it’s time take the next step in the country: DB Schenker has invested in a new electric vehicle fleet and is rolling out 25 additional electric trucks and vans in the country this spring.
The electric fleet will then total 42 e-trucks and five e-bicycles contributing to a significant Co2 reduction of 1,500 t per year in Norway.
The investment in sustainable urban distribution will continue through 2021 until 100% electric distribution is in place in all major Norwegian cities, Schenker said. (ben)
