Work and truck stop inaugurated
Luxembourg-based CFL group has opened a new workshop and secure truck stop (CRS) Bettembourg-Dudelange. Located at the terminal and marshalling yard, the new maintenance and repair workshop will reduce rolling stock downtime and improve the availability of the wagon and locomotive fleet.
It services and repairs railfreight wagons, hydraulic diesel locomotives that operate on the primary network, and new Bombardier MS3 electric locomotives.
On the adjoining CRS, 300 secure parking spaces are available 24/7 for users of the intermodal terminal and the logistics park. The new site includes a petrol station, a truck wash, a restaurant, sanitary and fitness facilities and a laundry service. (ben)
