Wiremind enhances capacity-steering platform
Wiremind’s air cargo software and data-science team has spent the past months enhancing the company’s capacity-steering platform ‘Skypallet’. It already has more than 1,200 users in 100 countries – including Atlas Air, Chapman Freeborn, the ECS Group, Emirates, Qantas and United – and offers several service modules that can be used together or individually.
Its flight-planning module, for instance, provides a detailed ULD build-up sequence to optimise capacity utilisation. It was recently enhanced with a new visual build-up plan feature that caters to the needs of flight planners and GHAs.
Wiremind, founded in 2014, is working on a number of additional products aimed at helping airlines and forwarders better manage their cargo activities. It will be launching them in the coming months. (ah)
