Widening scope close to Los Angeles airports
It is Californication of its own kind. Freight forwarding group Seko Logistics has begun operations in its latest facility close to the port of Long Beach and Los Angeles international airport, increasing its total footprint in southern California to over 300,000 sqm.
The additional warehouse space is for a major client in a region of North America that, according to Seko Logistics, is now "on a par with Shanghai and Hong Kong as one of the world’s most strategically important global logistics hubs."
Another warehouse in the new complex will open in Q1/2022. The new location will serve as a multi-client e-commerce fulfilment centre with a dedicated mezzanine floor for order picking. (sh)
