What Cargo Digital World has to offer
At a recent press conference, European general cargo cooperation Cargo Line presented Cargo Digital World (CDW), a company which was founded in Paderborn in January 2021. CDW’s aim is to offer technology-based logistics solutions in cooperation with logistics start-ups.
"Since 2017, we have created three start-ups with the garage33 start-up incubator in Paderborn, which we are now bringing under one roof in Cargo Digital World," said Jörn Peter Struck, chairman of Cargo Line’s management board.
The three companies are digital freight forwarder Cargoboard, which has been offering Europe-wide general cargo transport online since April 2019, cargo brokerage platform Cargo Native, which intelligently connects partial and full loads as well as loading space capacities, and start-up Cargo Cast, which uses artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to improve capacity utilisation and resource planning in the transport and logistics industry. Cargo Digital World is headed by Tim Brühn. (sh)
