WFS provides cargo handling staff at CDG
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP Cargo) has contracted Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to provide cargo handling staff for one of the palletisation lanes at its freight terminal G1XL at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for the next two years.
Laurent Bernard, vice president cargo France at WFS: “This is the first time that our teams at Paris CDG are providing cargo airline assistance via an in-house customer warehouse operation instead of in our own facility."
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Paris, WFS is the world’s largest air cargo handler and provider of ground handling and technical services. It generates annual revenues of over EUR 1.1 billion. Its 22,300 employees serve more than 270 airlines at 170 major airports in 20 countries. (cj)
