WFS again bigger in Brussels

Worldwide Flight Services' (WFS) has invested EUR 100 million in new facilities at Brussels airport, earning the cargo-handler a new five-year contract with Air France KLM Martinair Cargo. The agreement commences this month and sees WFS provide handling solutions for around 30,000 t annually of cargo, mail and trucks, and services for special products.


WFS already launched operations in its custom-built 9,400 m2 ‘Building 832’ at the airport in February 2019, and is now preparing to open the 25,000 m2 ‘Building 835’. The new facility in the airport’s cargo zone will incorporate 3,000 m2 of cooling facilities for pharmaceuticals and perishables, a covered airside area and outside container storage. (ah)
