Weekly ro-ro service between Bremerhaven and Norway
Polaris Autoliners has introduced a weekly ro-ro service connecting Bremerhaven with Oslo and Drammen. The new route offers a transport solution for vehicle shipments, responding to increasing demand, according to a media release.
“Norway is an important market for international vehicle transport, particularly as one of the world’s leading importers of electric vehicles,” according to Polaris Autoliners CEO Marius Toft.
With departures every week the service integrates into the company’s global network, which includes connections to the Mediterranean, the Far East, Australia and North America.
The weekly departures will help customers to “benefit from optimised supply chains, reduced transit times and expanded transport capacities,” as Toft stated. The first departure of the service took place in January. (js)
