Wascosa welcomes new CSO
Wascosa has appointed Christian Theis as chief sales officer and new member of the executive board. He took up his new role on 1 March 2024 and brings with him many years of experience in European rail logistics, including as managing director of Wanne-Herner Eisenbahn und Hafen GmbH and most recently as managing director of Rhenus Ports, where he headed the Rhenus Group's sea and inland port terminals.
Irmhild Saabel will gradually hand over the management of sales to Theis and will lead Wascosa's technology division from May 2024 as a member of the executive board in addition to her duties as head of business development. Wascosa, headquartered in Lucerne, was founded in 1964 and is one of the pioneers in the freight wagon industry. (cj)
