Warehousing takeover finalised
Bluejay Capital, a specialist for logistics and transport industry investments, has completed the acquisition of the Atlanta-based US firm Best Warehousing and Transportation (BWT), a 3PL and B2B warehousing and transportation business with 30 locations in 15 US states. The price of the transaction was not revealed.
BWT president and CEO Winston McDonald Jr will retain an undisclosed ownership stake in the business. Bluejay Capital financed the transaction with Argosy Private Equity, Southfield Mezzanine, Spring Capital Partners and the Key Bank. (sh)
