Waberer's works to record revenue
Hungary-based Waberer’s Group looks back on Q1/2024 as one of its most successful quarters to date. The logistics provider achieved a revenue of EUR 196.7 million, one of its highest quarterly revenue figures so far. The group’s growth, achieved despite macroeconomic uncertainties, is based on its success in the insurance and contractual logistics segments.
High investment results drove a record ebit of EUR 5.9 million in the group’s insurance business. The international transport and logistics segment however saw a negative ebit due to a weak European market and significant increases in road tolls.
Waberer’s thus remains in line with profit expectations for this year. The group’s management expects nearly EUR 800 million revenue and over EUR 40 million ebit for this year. It is also set to increase its dividend per share by 20% to 120 forints. (mk)
