Vivian Cheung appointed AAHK CEO
Vivian Kar-fay Cheung was appointed chief executive officer of Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), for a three-year term from 7 April.
Cheung, who was acting CEO from June 2024, brings over 30 years of experience at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) with her, including roles in operations, IT and mainland business development. She is a founding president of the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy.
AAHK chairman Fred Lam praised Cheung as the first home-grown CEO and highlighted her role in advancing HKIA’s ‘Airport City’.
Cheung, who holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University and a Computer Science degree from SUNY, said she looks forward to consolidating HKIA’s position amid global challenges. (ah)
