Virtual celebration of Logistics Day 2020
"Logistics makes it possible" was the slogan of this year's Logistics Day, which was forced to take place virtually at Captrain Germany due to the corona crisis. An online tour of the 120-year-old railway company highlighted its broad-based service range and its regional infrastructure services.
In addition, a video gave a glimpse at the in-house workshops which ensure that there are always enough rail vehicles available and that cross-border supplies of goods can be guaranteed and even expanded during the ongoing pandemic. At this year’s Logistics Day, Captrain announced that additional cross-border container train services have been running from Salzburg (Austria) to Gingen (Germany) twice a week since 1 April. (ben)
