Vienna airport launches logistics hub
Vienna airport and Bradford Airport Logistics have established a joint venture, Vienna Airport Logistics, to manage all goods flows in the southern expansion of the Austrian airport’s terminal 3, via a new 6,000 m² central logistics hub.
Starting in 2027, over 100 shops and restaurants will be supplied through this hub, which consolidates, secures and standardises all deliveries. Connected directly to the apron, the facility aims to ensure efficient, sustainable and predictable supply operations in the terminal.
“Incorporating centralised logistics infrastructure is foundational to delivering safe, efficient and seamless experiences for passengers,” said Benjamin Richter, founder and chairman of Bradford Airport Logistics. (js)
