Video intelligence improves fleet safety
With its Video intelligence product, software specialist Trimble is now helping transport companies to improve road safety on European networks as well.
The system enables fleet owners to film and later reconstruct accidents with the aid of externally facing wide-angle cameras. This helps them to better protect their drivers.
Companies can also use the video footage in combination with telematics data to coach and accompany drivers in order to increase safety across their vehicle fleets, says Trimble. Video intelligence was developed by Trimble Transportation and is deployed by transport companies worldwide. (ben)
