Vict hosts MSC's inaugural Wallaby service
Victoria International Container Terminal (Vict) at the port of Melbourne recently welcomed the inaugural call of the enhanced Wallaby service, operated by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). It connects Australia, New Zealand, and North Asia, offering more reliability and efficiency through a faster and more direct route.
The revised rotation includes key ports such as Hong Kong, Yantian, Shanghai, and Ningbo, while covering New Zealand ports like Bluff.
The Wallaby service, involving ten vessels with capacities between 2,700 and 5,000 teu, underscores Vict's growing capability to handle increased cargo volumes and its commitment to investing in infrastructure and technology to ensure efficient and transparent cargo operations. (pb)
