VDB president re-elected
The executive board of the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) reconfirmed Andre Rodenbeck, CEO rail infrastructure of Siemens Mobility, as VDB president on 22 September 2023.
Rodenbeck, who has been at the helm of the VDB since 24 July 2020, is thus beginning his second term in this position: "It is a great pleasure and honour for me to continue to represent the interests of our members as an ambassador of the railway industry. I would like to thank you for the trust and the close cooperation in the VDB executive board. There is a great spirit of optimism in the sector. Record investments in the railways have been announced and we are working closely with the entire railway industry in constructive partnerships to implement them. We are finally getting going and I am looking forward to continuing to play an active role in shaping this new era. Both at home and abroad," said Rodenbeck. (cj)
