VCT upgrades infrastructure
Visayas Container Terminal (VCT) in Iloilo, Philippines, has undergone significant upgrades in preparation for the arrival of two new mobile harbour cranes, which will enable it to handle larger vessels and increased cargo volumes.
These enhancements, including the addition of new equipment and expanded infrastructure, aim to transform VCT into a world-class port, the terminal’s management said in a press release.
The terminal has also focused on workforce development and sustainability initiatives to become a major player in the region's trade and logistics network. (pb)
