Van Riet searching for replacement CEO
Rik van den Boog has left the Dutch system integrator and intralogistics provider, Van Riet, after a seven-year stint as its managing director.
The company, part of Material Handlings Systems Inc, is now managed by Johan Verhoeff (CFO), Kai Ramadhin (sales & marketing director) and Thomas van Workum (director of lifecycle performance services). The search is on for a permanent CEO.
Van Riet, which grew strongly under Van den Boog's leadership, now delivers its automated sorting and transport solutions to the whole of Europe, the USA and China.
The outgoing MD said: "I have no more ambitions to run the operations side of a business. It was a great experience working in a sector that I did not previously know.” (mw)
