Van Beuningen leaves Port of Hamburg Marketing
Today, 31 August 2022, Bengt van Beuningen (centre), head of communication and information for Port of Hamburg Marketing, is leaving the Port of Hamburg’s public relations organisation as planned.
The organisation comprises 280 companies in the port/transport industry, Hamburg Port Authority and the City of Hamburg. Van Beuningen began working for its predecessor HHVW Sales Promotion and Advertising in 1999.
CEO Axel Mattern: "As a freelance communications consultant, he will continue to place his immense expertise and numerous contacts in German and international media at the disposal of the seaport and logistics sector."
Van Beuningen assumed responsibility for press work and print products less than a year ago. Ralf Johanning (right) will succeed him as press spokesman.
Mathias Schulz, a member of HHM’s top management, has led the digital & live/social media and moving images, trade fairs and events segments since October 2021. He will be in charge of the entire communications department as from September this year. (ah)
