Valenciaport sees rise in Australian trade links
Trade between Valenciaport and Australia saw significant growth in June this year, with exports rising by 13.75% compared to June 2023. Valenciaport now maintains commercial relations with eleven Australian ports, including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Key exports to Australia include construction materials, tools, foodstuffs, and beverages, totalling tens of thousands of tonnes. In return, Australia exported over 4,793 t of fruit, vegetables, and pulses to Valenciaport. Despite these increases, natural gas imports from Australia to Valencia have ceased this year, contrasting with the 4,643 t received in 2023. (pb)
