UPS logistics facility in Dubai South

Dubai South and UPS have signed an agreement to establish a facility in the logistics district, as a part of UPS’s regional expansion strategy. The facility is set to be operational by year-end.

Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Dubai South logistics district, highlighted the partnership as a step toward reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global logistics hub. “This new facility will enhance UPS’s capabilities, enabling faster and more efficient trade connectivity,” he said.

UPS vice-president Ismet Demirel emphasised Dubai’s strategic position in global trade, stating that the expansion will connect businesses in the Middle East to over 200 countries. The facility will benefit from Dubai South’s connectivity and direct access to Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum airport. (js)
