W3logistics has gained another customer from the frozen food/food logistics sector: Gelato Classico produces perfectly crafted ice cream according to the Italian tradition in Germany and also supplies the organic specialist and food retail trade.
The Dortmund-based software developer's w3/max programme started mapping production, storage and deliveries to supermarkets, restaurants and end customers at home in 2021.
The multi-client-capable warehouse management system supports not only the processes for logistics in the shipping warehouse, but also the management of Gelato Classico's delicious products. The coordination of the five external warehouses in interaction with the ERP system is also part of the overall package. (sh)
