UK haulier rejuvenates fleet
D Hughes Demolition in UK has added a new Volvo FMX 420 8x4 rigid to its diverse fleet. It will replace an older vehicle that has been in operation for nearly ten years.
The FMX is powered by a 420 hp Euro-6 engine, capable of producing 2,100 Nm of torque. Expected to be in service for at least the next four years, it is also equipped with a 12-speed I-Shift transmission that reduces fuel consumption.
Founded in 1980, D Hughes Demolition operates primarily in the North West of England, with a client list including several major development companies, local authorities and NHS Trusts. (ben)
