UK: DPD signs EV partnership
The agreement gives DPD drivers full access to Allstar’s payment solution Chargepass in the UK, reducing the need for separate transactions for public and home charging. Drivers can also use Allstar's extensive EV network that includes more than 14,000 charge points, in more than 4,000 locations.
DPD aims to achieve a net zero carbon footprint by 2040 and to transition 40% of its vehicles to electric in 2024, which will deliver 100 million parcels. The company has rapidly increased its EV fleet over the last two years, with over 3,600 vehicles now running on electric power. (ben)
