UECC adds second service
Operator UECC is starting a new North Sea service especially for automotive cargo connecting the ports of Zeebrugge, Esbjerg, Gothenburg and Drammen on a weekly basis.
This new offering is being introduced on the back of several new contracts with some of the major European car manufacturers. It will supplement UECC’s existing weekly Atlantic service connecting the ports of Vigo, Zeebrugge, Bremerhaven, Malmo and Drammen.
With the launching of the new North Sea service, the car carrier is now able to offer two weekly sailings between Zeebrugge and Drammen. The new service will begin with the M/V “Minchah” (ex. “Autopride”) leaving Zeebrugge on 7 April 2022. The vessel will most likely be substituted at a later date by one of the two new multi fuel LNG battery hybrid PCTCs UECC is currently building. (sh)
