TX Logistik leasing Samrtron locomotives
The rail logistics company TX Logistik has leased three Smartron locomotives from Northrail, the rail-asset management company of the German Paribus-Group.
The traction stems from a purchase agreement for 25 Smartron locomotives, which Paribus structured for a Paris-based private equity investment company at the end of 2018.
TX Logistik is the first customer to rent the Smartron locomotive, which is based on the proven and well-established Siemens Vectron series. Moreover, Northrail is the first and only lessor to date that offers the unique Smartron locomotive. (ben)
