Two to share Walker's former function
DHL Supply Chain has named Michael Lai as chief operating officer (COO) and Noel Singgih as chief information officer (CIO) for Asia Pacific. They take over from Steve Walker, who was recently appointed CEO for the division's regional cluster which includes Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Walker, Singgih and Lai are all members of the regional management board. Lai (photo) has spent 18 years with DHL where he held senior management roles based in Taiwan, South China, Macau, Hong Kong and Germany. His latest position was COO and head of solutions and innovation at SF DHL Supply Chain in China.
Singgih joined DP DHL Group a decade ago as senior director for infrastructure and service management. His most recent position was CIO for global service logistics, e-commerce and warehousing in DHL Supply Chain. He will continue to report to Markus Voss, CIO & COO DHL Supply Chain. (ah)
