Two roles for Markus Unterstein
Generation change at Kögel Trailer, a long-established vehicle manufacturer based in Burtenbach in Bavaria, Germany. Markus Unterstein (right) will take over the positions of CFO (chief financial officer) and COO (chief operating officer), effective February 2023.
Alongside CEO Christian Renners (left), Unterstein will head the company's purchasing, finance, controlling, IT and human resources departments. In their dual leadership, they will aim to further develop and expand the company’s operative business.
Unterstein, who has a degree in business administration and is a qualified industrial clerk, succeeds former CFO Thomas Heckel, who is taking a well-deserved retirement.
Most recently, Unterstein worked for more than ten years as CFO on the board of an internationally active family-owned company in the mechanical engineering sector based in Munich. (cj)
