Two on one day
On 4 October 2022 Jetstream Aviation Capital, a Miami-based aircraft lessor specialising in regional turboprop aircraft and the largest global owner of Saab 340 and Saab 2000, delivered two Saab 340B(F) to IBC Airways of Miami.
They are the first of an ongoing multi-aircraft commitment between both companies, which will result in IBC eventually retiring its fleet of Saab 340A freighters in favor of the more advanced 340B. They will operate within IBC's scheduled cargo network within the Caribbean.
On the same day, Jetstream delivered the second of an ongoing commitment for 15 Saab 340B cargo aircraft with Ameriflight of Dallas.
They will operate ad hoc cargo charter services throughout the Americas and within the airline’s scheduled cargo network on behalf of several major global integrators. (ah)
