Two newcomers join DVF steering committee
The German Transport Forum (DVF) has elected two newcomers to its steering committee and also confirmed a standard re-election. New member Hildegard Müller, President of the Association of the Automotive Industry, succeeds Bernhard Mattes, while Rolf Erfurt, board member for operations at Berlin’s public transport entity, replaces Sigrid Nikutta. The two stalwarts will enrich the mobility association’s managing body. Agnes Heftberger, a member of the management board of IBM Germany, was recently re-elected to the DVF steering committee.
Its chairman, Raimund Klinkner, is delighted with the new members: "Through the recruitment of Müller and Erfurt, we can retain the high level of expertise in the automobiles and public transport fields. Being such a strong community enables us to present our arguments to the political world, the public and various stakeholders, and credibly represent demands for cooperative, networked, environmentally friendly and high-performance mobility.
