Two major deals in India's real estate sector
Indo Space, a major logistics real estate player in India, has recently clinched two deals expanding its scope in the country.
At the recent WEF in Davos (Switzerland), the developer signed an MOU with the Maharashtra government, planning to acquire 404,686 sqm and invest more than INR 700 crore in the Chakan-Talegaon region. It already manages 2,023,430 sqm in nine logistics parks in the area.
With the expansion, the company aims to bolster its presence in the state of Maharashtra and stimulate economic growth in the region.
Another deal valued at INR 2000 crore was made with the government of Tamil Nadu, which will focus on boosting employment in the region with an estimated 15,000 new jobs and planning new developments on 464,515 sqm of land. With these deals, Indo Space is striving to grow its portfolio and strengthen its presence in the logistics real estate market. (mk)
