Two log tech companies to exploit synergies
ITA Consulting Group, provider of the B2B multi-carrier shipping solution Letmeship, is strengthening its position in the European courier, express and parcel (CEP) market with the acquisition of Parcelparcel. Founded in 2013 in the Netherlands, the company helps companies in Belgium and the Netherlands to select and contract the appropriate CEP logistics provider for the shipment of urgent documents and goods.
The merger of the two log-tech companies holds high synergy potential, especially in the technical development of the platform offerings. The ITA Consulting Group has been recording a growing demand for international B2B shipping solutions, which is mainly due to fragile supply chains worldwide and increases the need for time-sensitive and highly flexible shipping options.
As a result of this growth, the Hamburg-based company has significantly expanded its workforce in recent years and now employs more than 130 people at seven locations in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and Austria. (ben)
