Two-hour delivery windows established
With its ETA software, the Pall-Ex Group brings artificial intelligence (AI) into the world of freight distribution. The use of AI has allowed the UK network to launch a two-hour delivery window for its palletised freight and enhance the upgrades which it has already implemented, including additional pallet dimensions and parcel pallets.
The accurate delivery window generated by AI improves the services for customers and goods recipients, Pall-Ex said. Demand for ETAs has been rising within the palletised freight sector since parcel deliveries became customary a few years ago. (ben)
