Two conferences in Vienna
About 300 guests from the air cargo and pharmaceutical industries listened to inspiring lectures and panel discussions last week, when two top-class specialised events for the aviation sector were held at Vienna airport (VIE).
The focal points of the second Vienna Cargo Day and the Fly Pharma Conference were AI and global market developments and innovations for air cargo and pharmaceutical handling.
A special highlight of the programme was the exclusive tour of the airport’s pharma handling centre, which offered an insight into the specific requirements for the storage and transport of pharmaceutical products.
In his opening speech, Günther Ofner, joint CEO and CFO of VIE, emphasised the importance of the airport as an international hub, which is firmly anchored in the European network of air cargo RFS. (ah)
