Turning back the clock
Four years after Britain’s departure from the EU, Europa Road is returning to pre-Brexit delivery times.
Europa Worldwide Group’s road freight division has a facility located close to the Dartford Thames Crossing, around 32 km from the centre of London. The groupage hub recorded a 15% YoY increase in European road freight volume, with 40,000 consignments passing through the terminal every month.
Now, the division can provide delivery times on par with pre-Brexit services. Europa is even offering a money back guarantee. This improvement is largely due to its GBP 5 million investment in Europa Flow, a project which built up tech and infrastructure to cut delivery times based on DDP (deliver duty paid). Europa can now reach Italy, Denmark, and Germany within four days. (mk)
