Turkish Cargo landing in Munich and Vancouver
Turkish Cargo hasn’t let the fact that the Air Cargo Europe trade fair isn’t taking place physically next week dampen its energy and has announced its arrival in Munich (photo). On Friday 7 May the airline is adding main-deck capacities to the southern German destination, which is already served by Turkish Airlines passenger options. Turkish Cargo said that it is “very proud to have added one of the world’s technology capitals to our flight network.”
Markus Heinelt, Munich airport’s director of cargo traffic development, commented on LinkedIn that "Munich airport is highly delighted and proud to welcome TK Cargo with a scheduled freighter operation. We’re looking forward to a successful future.”
Even before that Turkish Cargo is set to take advantage of the belly capacity available on a new service to Canada from 2 May. It will offer direct transport options to Vancouver three times a week. (ah)
