Tunisair tries again

After the guest appearance of Olfa Hamdi, a young executive from outside the company, at the helm of Tunisair (see ITJ 11-12/2021, p. 5) was of only short duration, the Tunisian government is once again relying on a manager with in-house experience to take her place.

Khaled Chelli has around 30 years of experience in the aviation sector, including as deputy head of Tunisair between 2012 and 2014 and as head of its Tunisair Express branch from 2014 to 2015.

Chelli was first the airline's representative for North America in Montréal and then for Central Europe in Vienna. However, he has also worked in administration. He headed the Tunisian Civil Aviation Authority for three years, managing Iata's offices in Tunis and Casablanca. (amh)
