TÜV SÜD to check vehicles in Eastern Europe
After a year of construction, the German testing, inspection and certification company TÜV SÜD has opened two service centres in Slovakia’s capital Bratislava and in Banska Bystrica. The new test centres consist of three test lanes for car and commercial vehicle inspections as well as an extra lane for originality checks.
The modern facilities for main and exhaust emission tests also mark TÜV SÜD's entry into Slovakia. With this step into Eastern Europe, TÜV SÜD's mobility division will create a total of 250 jobs.
More test centres are to be set up in all eight regions of the country in the coming years. TÜV SÜD is already active in Turkey, Spain, Austria, and South Africa, where it provides services associated with general inspections. (ben)
