Transuniverse founds subsidiaries in France and Morocco
Transuniverse Forwarding (TUF), which is based in Ghent (Belgium), has established subsidiaries in France and Morocco. Both offices and cross-docking hubs have recently become operational. The groupage company’s traffic to and from both countries is growing so fast that it needed to set up its own organisations there.
Transuniverse France has its headquarters in Garonor, the logistics zone north of Paris. The central cross-dock platform for France is also located there. “In addition to operational tasks, the French subsidiary fulfils a commercial role. It will ensure further growth of the existing groupage traffic between Belgium and France”, says Frank Adins, president of Transuniverse Forwarding.
Transuniverse has also founded its own groupage company in Casablanca to serve the Moroccan market. This subsidiary starts off with four employees. Currently the company offers daily departures from Wondelgem (Belgium) to the Maghreb. (mw)
