Transfera thrives in Serbia
The logistics company Transfera is making some serious buzz in Serbia’s logistics market. Established in 2013 in Belgrade, and offering road, air and sea transport and customs clearance services, warehousing and distribution, Transfera did not take long to position itself as a reliable logistics service provider.
Under the leadership of Dusko Radovic, CEO, Transfera’s staff grew from five to 220 employees, setting up a network of 16 branch offices across the country, submitting more than 300 customs declarations a day and transporting more than 40,000 shipments per year. With an income of EUR 35 million in 2019, Transfera is among the top three logistics companies and ranked number two when it comes to gross profit.
There are two main goals for Transfera which have remained unchanged for years: investment in its employees, as a pillar of its development, and investment in technology. "We want to be recognised as an innovative company with customer-friendly solutions. We want to remain the best, not the biggest company on the market," Radovic said. (mw)
