Transcontainer to build two intermodal hubs
The transport company is significantly expanding its terminal capacities in the Moscow region in cooperation with the local chamber of commerce and industry.
One of the projects provides for the construction of a terminal near Chekhov station (Moskovskaya Railway) with container yards offering a capacity of about 13,000 teu. The new terminal is scheduled to open in 2025-2026.
A second terminal is planned in the Domodedovo District of the Moscow region. With a designed capacity of 424,000 teu, it will be adjacent to Usady railway station and will serve as an additional hub to the company’s existing terminals at Kuntsevo-2 and Vorsino stations. (ben)
