Trans-o-flex launches B2C pharma offer
Germany-based express service Trans-o-flex is now offering a B2C pharma service, which was developed for the temperature-controlled shipment of medicines to end customers.
The timing of the service expansion was deliberate, the company commented. "The mail order business for pharmaceuticals increased significantly during the corona pandemic and this trend seems irreversible," said Wolfgang P. Albeck, CEO of the express service.
The service is not limited to particular regions but offered throughout Germany within 24 hours. A temperature history, where the recipient can also view the temperature of his shipment during the entire transport, is also part of the service.
The aim is to ensure that the sensitive cargo is not affected by strong fluctuations in temperature which are a risk when medicines are transported in trucks without temperature control units. (sh)
