Trans Montana locos for Green Cargo
The Romanian manufacturer Softronic Craiova recently delivered four new locomotives of its Trans Montana model to the Swedish carrier Green Cargo, with a further two more units to follow by the end of this year. The locomotives are designed to function in all weather conditions, which makes them resilient enough to transport heavy railway freight in Scandinavia all the year round.
The Trans Montana also has all four CE certificates for the technical specifications of interoperability (TSI). These standards must be met by every subsystem or part of a subsystem to fulfil all the requirements of the European Union railway system, Softronic said. (ben)
