Tracking deliveries with AI
An improved AI software programme has been introduced by the Pall-Ex Group. The UK haulage network has so far been using AI technologies developed in-house which were created to give greater delivery transparency. Now, the company has taken a step further by launching the Nexus ETA project.
Nexus is Pall-Ex's freight tracking software. The addition of AI will improve its ability to calculate the estimated time of freight arrival and provide a delivery time window for customers and goods recipients, the network said. Pall-Ex launched Nexus in 2020.
Since then, the platform has enhanced international freight capabilities with multi-lingual and multi-currency options, providing an effortless booking process for domestic and global freight, Pall-Ex added. (ben)
