Timber hub rebranded
Formerly known as Mimab Wood, the Gothenburg Wood Terminal has rebranded to reinforce its status as the primary timber terminal in the Port of Gothenburg. Located at Scandinavia's largest logistics hub, it plays a crucial role in the supply chain connecting Swedish sawmills to global markets.
The terminal boasts a 15,000 sqm area, rail connectivity, and 240 m of track within its facility for unloading timber from trucks and trains, followed by efficient container loading.
With a capacity of 180-200 containers per week, it supports Sweden's booming timber exports. The terminal highlights the advantages of railway transportation and aims for sustainability in collaboration with partners and port operators, contributing to Gothenburg's position as one Sweden's major forest ports.
